I posted originally under the Home Assistant area but I got no responses. I also tried to message 3rd Reality via their web site but when I fill out the form I can’t even click on the SEND button so I can’t ask directly. Some things have changed on my original post since I got a little help from Social Media groups but I still have questions. The manual is VERY poor and that’s being kind.
When my garage door is open (tilt sensor) I want it to FLASH the night light AND turn it to RED. I have managed to get it to work turning colors but the flash is not working. I think possibly I see a quick flash but it does not continue, is the flash option for ONE flash or will it continue to flash (which is what I want). Currently either garage door open makes it turn red, when they are closed the light turns to green.
I would like to DIM the night light, the one in our bathroom is quite bright, I have checked several settings and even put any setting that seems brightness related to minimum but it does not seem to affect brightness. Is it possible to set the brightness to what you desire ?
The next one is odd. I have seen the night light turn on at night when it senses motion that’s great I like it that way especially in the bathroom since it’s close to the bed and shines into the bedroom ALL NIGHT LONG. Problem is that the night light does not shut off day or night movement or not. I would like the night light to go on by movement OR when the Automation I set up to change color (and hopefully flash/brightness) upon the tilt sensor setting it off day or night. It had behaved that way one day but suddenly both night lights stay on all the time now. What are the settings to control that?
