My MZ1 is now orphaned from my Alexa App

I bought an Echo Dot for my mother and added it to my account in her house.
Now Alexa thinks the speaker is on site with my MZ1 which it’s not.
There doesn’t seem to be a way to Synch Alexa with my MZ1 / 3rd Reality App without it.

I really don’t want to buy another speaker just to add my $20 bridge …
I tried to add it to Google Home, but that wants a HUB that aligns it purely to the Google Proprietary group.

It’s absolutely horrible how each vendor locks you into their own specific technology solution.

I have an EERO MESH which already locks me into the Alexa App with it’s Hub,
I used the Matter Hub because it made management easier.

Now because I installed a speaker in another house, none of it works.

I guess that’s probably not possible, but you could try creating a new room in the Alexa app and see if that separates the Matter bridge from the speaker under your account.

In general, Alexa treats all devices under the same account as belonging to a single home, so managing devices across multiple houses with one account may not work as expected.

It’s unfortunate.
The reason I went with the matter Bridge was because using the EERO Bridge and Pairing the devices with Alexa directly removes the ability to configure power on characteristics and all the energy management functions.
I’ll need to go back to that and wait for the 50% sales on Prime to buy another speaker.
The room idea is interesting, Let me play with that one.
