badbologna I just bought a new soil sensor and it just isn’t pairing with Z2M. Things I’ve tried: Holding down button to start blinking blue light Pulled out battery and put back in, push power to start pairing mode Held down button so it turns red then blue for pairing more Different AA battery just in case the default one is bad. I just paired some ThirdReality Power Plug Gen 2s to my system earlier today and that paired flawlessly. Any ideas?
Siyo badbologna Not quite sure which part went wrong. You can perform a cold restart for Home Assistant and try again. This can help to clear the cache and pair devices with a fresh environment. Also, please try to bring the sensor closer to the coordinator to see if this helps.
badbologna Siyo Sadly, it seems like this one was just a dud. No matter what I did it just refused to pair. I even spun up a new Z2M instance and even tried pairing with HA directly with no dice. I ended up returning it.

Merwenus I have the same issue, so if you read this before buying, please wait a few weeks till they find out what is wrong with this, because its not easy to upgrade firmware without connecting it to a hub. Bought from Amazon (3 pack)
