Most effect settings do not work (ZL1 Bulb) - timeout issues in Z2M

Hello, using latest HA with Z2M and 3reality ZL1 bulbs, updated to latest firmware 1.00.74. Bulb works well overall but I am having problem using most of the effect modes, of which there are these commands: blink, breathe, ok, channel_change, finish_effect, stop_effect, colorloop, stop_colorloop. I can get colorloop to work and colorloop-stop. but the other commands do either nothing or simply switch on the bulb. Further inspection in Z2M reveals that the commands run into timeout errors, such as:
Presence sensor/set(effect): {"target":63059,apsFrame":{"profileld":260, clusterId":3,"sourceEndpoint": 1,"destinationEndpoint": 1,"options": 4416, "groupld":0,"sequence":52},"zclSequence":200,"commandldentifier": 11} timed out after 10000ms

Any help appreciated, also with documentation how to use these effects. They would be really great to have.
I am also running into the same issues with the light in the Smart Presence Sensor R3.

DerangedChef We are very sorry, but these effects are built into the official interface and are not supported. Currently, only color loop is supported.

Thanks for this information. I am confused though about the “official interface” - which one is that? Did you mean to say only certain hubs can use all effects, or that the API is shared and seems to offer these effects for several devices but the device firmware cannot handle the commands?
