New Install Issues w/ TVOC and Occupancy Clearing

I got the R3 sensor over the weekend and was able to get it up and running in Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT with no issues. However, I have noticed that the TVOC entity continues to read “null”, and that the sensor sometimes takes a few minutes to recognize that a person has left the room. I did update to the latest firmware (33) and un-paired / re-paired with no change. Has anyone else had any luck getting these values to update properly with a similar setup?

I have checked with our engineering team, and the script for the R3 sensor in Z2M is still under testing. Please stay tuned for updates—we will release it once all testing is completed.

Regarding the delayed clearance of occupational status, this is caused by the chip currently used in the sensor. Our team is working on new firmware to address this issue.

Just in case anyone else is following this thread, the firmware update that was released in the last 24 hours or so seems to have greatly improved clearing of occupancy. What was 5-10 minutes before is now maybe 30 seconds?

The TVOC still shows as null, but definitely some improvements!

Glad to hear there are some improvements there. The script on Z2M is about to be published. Once it is available, you will be able to see the TVOC value.
