HELP: Home Assistant OS not detecting TR USB Coordinator

I just got a TR USB dongle from Amazon and plugged it into my Home Assistant VM. I passed the USB through to the VM and /dev/ttyUSB0 is being created along with the appropriate by-id link. But when I try to add the adapter it hangs for about 30 seconds then asks me to pick my Zigbee adapter type. Then it tells me it can’t communicate with it even when I do the manual configuration steps.

My Home Assistant install is up to date, can someone help me out here?

Hi,
Sorry for the delay—I finally got access to a spare machine to test this out. Hopefully you’ve already managed to resolve the issue.
I’m not sure which VM setup you’re using. On my end, I’m running Proxmox and everything works normally. When setting up the dongle, make sure to select the “Zigate” option (instead of the others) and then continue with the setup process. It should work as expected.
