Siyo What you need: A cup Some tap water Soil sensor Tissue Isopropyl alcohol (Optional) Steps: Pull the sensor out of the soil, rinse the probe with clean water, and ensure no dirt remains. Update the sensor’s firmware to the latest version (1.00.38 or above). Please place the sensor close to the hub to ensure a smooth update process. Clean the probe with isopropyl alcohol and ensure there is no debris. (If you do not have alcohol, you can use dish soap and water to clean and rinse the probe.) Pour a glass of tap water, place the sensor vertically in the water, and adjust the water level to precisely reach the line on the probe. Dry the sensor and unscrew the cap. Press the reset button three times. The blue LED should turn on for three seconds. Leave the probe in the air for 15 seconds. Please do not touch the sensing area with your finger or any liquid. Screw the cap back on and ensure it is locked in place. Place the sensor vertically in the cup, ensuring the water level reaches the white mark on the probe. Hold the sensor in the water for 15 seconds. The sensor will automatically record all the information and exit calibration mode. There is no need to reset or re-pair this sensor to the hub.
Siyo Please note: The Soil Moisture Sensor uses a high-frequency signal to read the capacitance of the probe. When placing the sensor in the soil, leave at least 15 centimeters between two sensors to avoid interference and ensure accurate readings.
