Energy Monitoring does not work in Homey Pro, Alexa and Apple Home Kit.

Smart Plug M1

Two weeks ago I bought Smart Plug M1 along with others 3Reality to try them. This particular one I have linked to Homey Pro and I find that it does not provide me with readings on power, current and voltage as the Zigbee “Smart Plug Gen 2” version does. Then I linked the Smart Plug M1 with Alexa and Apple Home Kit and found that it also does not provide any information but only allows you to turn the contact on and off.

I am in the dilemma between waiting for you to solve this deficiency and returning it to buy my switches from a brand that will give me the required service as it is offered.

Do you have a plan in the short term for Smart Plug M1 to have all the functionality offered within the Homey Pro platform?

I wonder if there is anything you guys can do to get this device to work properly on Homey Pro. I don’t know if the dysfunction is in the device, if it is in Homey Pro programming, or if it is in the Matter Protocol.

Any idea that will allow us to at least learn a lesson?

For Smart Plug M1, with the official release of Matter SDK 1.3, we are working hard to support the standard power detection function. We believe that all major Matter gateway platforms are also working towards this goal. Our goal is to support Power Metering functionality that fully adheres to the standard Matter protocol.
It is expected that Third Reality will be completed on the device side in the Q4 of this year and will be integrated with platforms that support Matter’s standard power metering solution.
