I’m having the same issue trying to use the adaptive lighting add-on with Home Assistant. In sleep mode I have the lights shift from white color temperature to red at 100% brightness. If I turn on a light, it will be white, ramp up to 100% brightness, and then go to red. Same in reverse when I turn on the lights the following morning, red then a transition to white (just not as glaring of an issue because red isn’t blinding).
+1 if this could be fixed that’d be fantastic. This is my only gripe about these otherwise fantastic bulbs.
Edit: I’ve been able to mitigate this slightly by using the split command option, so separate turn on events, one with just brightness and another with just color are sent after a short ms delay. The light still turns on with a white flash but it’s much shorter.
Still insane that brightness and color cannot seem to be part of the same command? Could we at least get support for something like execute_if_off that the IKEA Tradfri has, so we can set color when the bulbs are off?
